We collect and store your email and zip code when you place an order from our online shop. The email address is required for us to begin communicating with you about your order and the zip code is for us to calculate shipping costs before requesting payment.
We will not use your email address for marketing purposes, only to correspond with you in regards to your orders or in response to questions or customer service issues you initiate with us.
Should you wish to see your previous orders, we will store the email address and zip code you enter in a temporary "session variable" in order to do so. We do not utilize tracking cookies or any other methods to record your behavior or activities on our website outside of submitting a contact form or an order request.
We use Stripe to collect payments and retrieve shipping information. While we cannot control what Stripe does with this information, we do not store it in our own databases or systems and only utilize the information for the purposes of fulfilling and shipping orders and customer service. To request a refund or replacement for a defective or broken product, please reach out via the contact form above or by email. Please take some pictures before throwing anything away if you would be so kind.
While not required for a refund, you are welcome to send defective or broken products to the return address on the shipping label. Any salvageable materials will be re-purposed and given another life if at all possible.
We will request payment when we are ready to start working on your order. This includes time to obtain materials we don't have on-hand and to fill any orders ahead of yours.
When we are ready to collect payment and start your order, we will generate a payment link with Stripe and email it to the address you submitted with your order so that you can pay with your desired method on their secure system.
The products we sell are usually large and heavy so they can be costly to ship. We are a small operation and do not have any special agreements with shipping providers, but try to find the best deals available for each and every order.
We believe it is more honest to give you the actual price for shipping rather than spreading those costs into the products and advertising "free shipping."
